I love lifting heavy shit. I look at the bar, the weights, and I giggle with excitement, and sometimes I’ve cried. I love trying to max out and fatiguing from lifting more than I thought I could, I love failing and coming back the next time and killing it. I lift more in a week than most men lift in a month, and I feel amazing doing it. 
You can’t cheat the bar! It doesn’t lie to you. That’s what I love about it. No matter who you are, what your story is, you’re either gonna kick the shit out of the bar, or the bar is going to kick the shit out of you — either way, there will be a lesson learned! And no one on this planet can take that away from you!

Now that I am finally nailing 20 + consecutive double unders  (which has only taken me 6 months to do) I decided it was time to reward myself with a new rope. It’s enroute to me and I can’t wait to start using it.

The only thing that saved me from jumping off that treadmill was the new mix I DL’d by Dj Inferno. It really helps to have good music!

YMCA mi 00:29 09:39 pace

I was trying to do a tempo run, and since I’ve never done one before I did a beginner type. 5 x 3 mins at 6.5 1 min at 5.5 for recovery. Apparently I need to do this weekly to improve on speed, and endurance.

Bench Press 5 rep max 45, 65, 85, 105, 115 (maxed out at 3 reps here). The WOD was 6 x 9 Thrusters / Burpees I totally forgot to clock my time here, >_<

This was not RX’d either. My knee kept feeling like it was going to blow so I dropped the weight from RX to just bar to gett’er done!
